Alta Vista Development

Welcome to Alta Vista.

The lush tropical rainforest and verdant El Mojon mountain range is the backdrop of the Alta Vista residential development. Located just 8 km from the Town of Trujillo, Alta Vista is the only 2 tier property within Life Vision with both Beachside and Mountainside estate lots. With over 55% of the development sold out, the gated community has 24/7 security and is a total size of 292 acres.  It will be developed in stages so as to minimize the impact on the local residents, wildlife and eco-system.

The first section will encompass 99 private residences on the beachside overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Directly in front of the section will be the Alta Vista Beach Club to which residents will have full access to the beachside restaurant, bar and swimming pool. It will also have a banquet hall that can host community events and be the ideal location for a Caribbean destination wedding.

The second section will have 180 private estate-size residences tiered into the mountainside with panoramic views of the Bay Islands and turquoise blue sea.  The final design of the total development has been completed with SERNA and municipal permits received. Installation of road infrastructure is underway and will be complete in 2011.  A number of residents have finalized their house design and construction of these magnicent homes will also begin in January 2011. Owners are able to choose from a choice of 3 options,2 bedroom bungalow, 3 bedroom bungalow or 3 bedroom 2-storey. Each home follows a unique south western Santa Fe design.  Please visit Jaguar Construction (www.jaguarcon.com) for more details on home design and construction plans.

Life Vision Properties Welcomes new Tree Ocelot to Campo Del Mar Nature Park

[Gallery not found]

Meet Isis, our newest arrival to the Campo Del Mar animal rescue centre.  The IFC arrived early Saturday October 30th with Isis, who is a Margay.  Margay’s are related to the Ocelot family and is also sometimes called the Tree Ocelot because of its superior climbing ability and its preference to living in the rainforest canopy.  While she was in captivity for awhile she isn’t disturbed by people and will come to the edge of her temporary home to greet visitors.  This exotic feline was aptly named ISIS (Egyptian goddess of fertility) because of her Egyptian looking eye features.

Jim Sand, President of Fast Track was on hand to welcome her and can attest that “She of the Throne” is truly majestic.  Isis spent her first night very well, cleaning and grooming herself and woke up a bit hungry. You will see from the picture, she was hoping the camera was breakfast.  Preparation of a permanent home for Isis at Campo Del Mar Nature Park Animal Habitat has begun, as well our on-staff biologist and veterinary staff are observing and caring for her.  We look forward to all visitors coming to look at their property in Trujillo, coming by and saying hi to Isis.  While there don’t forget to go and see Poncho and his pals at the Capuchin and Spider monkey habitat as well as our flock of singing parrots.  If you come at the right time of the evening you might be able to see and hear the birds having a spirited conversation with another flock of parrots from the nearby rainforest who come by for a visit on a regular basis.

Tides Are Turning

%Real Estate%InvestmentThe Clelia II international cruise ship arrived in Trujillo on Tuesday October 26th 2010.  Operated by Travel Dynamics, the Clelia II is the second passenger cruise ship to arrive in Trujillo in the past 18 months.

The 100 or so German passengers were ferried through the dock at Puerto Castilla and shuttled into Trujillo on awaiting tour buses to the Christopher Columbus Hotel where they were greeted by native Garifuna dancers.  The tourists were welcomed by Mayor Jose Antonio Lainez and his wife, Isis Lainez.

The dance act delighted the visitors, particularly to Peter Graham, director of cruise lines.  “We are very happy to come to Trujillo and how people treated us. They have very nice places, Honduras is impressive, this is a very quiet bay and a beautiful lagoon, are happy to be in this paradise, “said Graham.

“We hope that events like these are repeated and thus promote global Honduras and particularly to Trujillo as the preferred site for the withdrawal of American retirees and tourist destination” says Trujillo Mayor Jose Antonio Lainez.
