Trujillo Visit 2010

Excited new LVP property owners return back to Canada in love with Honduras and have some great photos to share with us.  Here’s what they have to say.

My husband and I purchased 2 lots in Alta Vista in July 2009.  It took us almost a year to finally make it to Trujillo to see them.  June 2010 we landed in La Ceiba where the wonderful Cathy Bernier picked us up.  We were in love with Honduras instantly!

The 2 hour drive to our hotel flew by, as Cathy pointed out interesting tidbits along the way. There was a town Carnival the week we were there, so we got to see the local culture in action.  We found  the people to be very friendly and non-intrusive. We had a chance to do some local style fishing, no rods, but we did catch quite a few fish! The old Spanish Fort in town is amazing to see, some great photo ops here! We also spent a day touring the Lifevision Properties with Cathy.  It was great to see our properties and envision our future home away from home.  We are still amazed at how such large homes can be built on those hills, but they are, and they are beautiful!

We would like to thank Lifevision and Jaguar Construction for the great hospitality. All of our expectations were exceeded.  We can’t wait to go back!

Sincerely,

Kevin and Kelley -Owners

Campo del Mar Park System – Animal Habitat

%Real Estate%InvestmentOne of the four parks within the Campo del Mar Park System is the Wildlife Park.  This park will feature colonies of monkeys, exotic birds and other rainforest animals living freely within their natural environment.  Plans for the park include guided Canopy and Trail Tours bringing visitors and residents as close to the natural rainforest without disturbing the wildlife.

Within the Nature Park of Campo del Mar, Life Vision Properties has finished construction of a monkey habitat that will assist in the preservation and rehabilitation of Spider and Capuchin monkeys.    The 42’ high and 50’ diameter structure will be used to assist injured, abandoned and confiscated monkeys in need of care.

Recently the Natural Resource Authorities (UMA) has left in our care for rescue purposes, 5 Capuchin monkeys and 2 Spider Monkeys that were confiscated by the UMA authorities.  Our full-time biologist and on call veterinarian are working daily with the animals and determining their chances of rehabilitating them back to the rainforest.

Monkey Habitat Campo del Mar Wildlife Park

In addition, the habitat will also provide the opportunity for park visitors to view current residents as we anticipate having ongoing animal residents (other habitats are being constructed) processed due to rescue operations.  This will be an excellent opportunity to educate visitors, schools and eco-enthusiasts about the domestic and wild animals of Honduras.
