In the photographs you’ll see the plane that is now available for private charter to Trujillo. It is operated by Larry Forseth who initially arrived in Honduras in 2008. In fact, he actually has a property in Campa Vista, and was among the first people to buy a property there. Shortly after visiting Trujillo, he and his wife Linda fell in love with the area, the people and culture. The imminent Banana Coast Cruise Terminal and Life Vision’s residential construction projects made them realize that Trujillo was really a great place to develop a variety of business opportunities.

With so much going for it they made a decision to invest in Trujillo, and purchased a local holiday resort called Tranquility Bay. Sharing the Caribbean shoreline with the neighboring Campamento Resort and not far from Campa Vista, it is a delightful little resort. Larry was formerly a pilot with Air Canada, and he purchased the Piper Navajo Chieftain plane a few months after he and Linda relocated to Trujillo permanently in August 2010. Larry now provides a small charter service which operates between Trujillo, San Pedro Sula, Roatan and LaCeiba, and he sometimes makes trips further afield to Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Larry’s first flight from his new Trujillo base took Randy Jorgensen and a number of Randy’s international business associates, over to San Pedro Sula. So now it’s possible to get to Trujillo by road, air and, as soon as the Banana Coast Cruise Port is finished next year, you’ll be able to arrive by sea too. With a variety of new residential and tourism-focused projects on the drawing board, the region is poised to benefit from investment and development for the next 10-15 years.
